| Loth-X JI-300 |
 Although
Loth-X has made a name for itself for producing high quality horn-loaded
speakers, the product that really excited us was their JI-300
Single-Ended integrated amplifier. Using one 300B tube per channel and rated at 8 watts per channel, this is by no means an economy model. Rather, aimed at serious audiophiles who know and appreciate quality, they are really stunning in terms of both appearance and sounds quality. Now available on demo in our showroom. |

are designed by Kazutoshi Yamada, a man who is a perfectionist on par with

this world-renowned marque has been absent from The Adelphi for quite some
time now. Well fear not, as we have just been appointed as the exclusive
dealer for their speakers. Probably the most dominant manufacturer of high-end loudspeakers in the world today, B&W speakers regularly garner top awards from audio magazines worldwide. Expect to see them in our showroom by September. However, with such an extensive lineup of products, it is difficult to decide which models to display initially. Perhaps you could help by writing in and recommending us your favourite models? |
| Shunyata Research - Update |
 For
all those who have waited patiently for the arrival of the new Hydra
8, we need to extend our sincere apologizes as our 1st shipment
was completely sold-out even before the highly coveted items reached our
shores! After that shipment arrived, Shunyata announced another delay due to problems with the quality of the new faceplates. Production will resume as soon as they have found a new vendor. Will the wait be worth it, you ask? Well, from the sample that we used for a short time in our system before we very reluctantly released it to its owner, it made a HUGE improvement to the overall sound. So much so, that after it was pulled out of the system, we had to take some time to get used to the ‘normal’ sound again. We would definitely consider the Hydra 8 as an important component in any system, not just an accessory. As a small consolation, we have brought in their new Anaconda Vx and Alpha power cords that incorporate many of the technologies found in the Hydra 8. Anyone who is serious about owning the best power cord in existence and is interested in auditioning these state-of-the-art cables, are welcome to request for a home trial. |
