Based on the success of the hornspeakers
SOLO, UNO, DUO and TRIO OMEGA, Avantgarde Acoustic became the market
leader for spherical high end horn speakers. The character of these "classic" SYSTEM
line speakers is their sophisticated horn technology and the unique
open frame design, which became the distinctive trademark of the
German horn speaker manufacturer.
With the cabinet based META line, Avantgarde Acoustic breaks new
ground, presenting an integral speaker concept. Featuring a metamorphosis
of horn technology and a modern yet classic cabinet style, the
sperical horns and the subwoofer of the META PRIMO share one elegant
cabinet.
The META PRIMO is the first product of this new horn speaker line.
It is positioned beside the TRIO OMEGA + BASSHORN and especially
addresses to music lovers who demand TRIO-like performance but
simply cannot accomodate such a big horn speaker statement.
The META PRIMO is a 2-way sperical horn speaker, intergrated into
4 active hornbass cabinets (2 per speaker). This concept, featuring
ADRIC power amps (pat. pend.) and high efficiency (107 dB/W/m),
makes the META PRIMO exceptionally easy to drive. In all sonic
aspects, including dynamics and resolution, Avantgarde Acoustic
promises a performance close to TRIO OMEGA with BASSHORN.
