Mani-2 was designed as a statement in pure musicality.
Regardless of specifications, “Mani-2” channelizes primal
energy and force into “being”.
Awaken your senses to what true coherent energy, properly focused,
can contribute to your listening experiences. Some have categorized
it beyond the magical, the ethereal… simply, fundamentally visceral.
At Totem we continue our tradition of aesthetic exquisite transducers.
Mani-2 is the culmination of several years research into necessarily
monitor sized transducers / speakers, capable of both absolute soundstaging
and fine focus, real, full range sound involving all senses.
Our monitor designs are all small driver, dynamic 2-way; the only
plausible design scheme for the coherence and the musicality we seek.
How is full range, dynamic, distortion-free, accurate, focalized music
and bass achieved in a small 2-way design?
It is optimized in the “Model One”, in a unique 2-way,
2-driver unit. It is maximized in the “Mani-2”, a unique
2-way, 3-driver unit. The “Mani-2 utilizes a unique push-pull
/ vented configuration in which the inner and outer midwoofer operate
in exactly the same “extended” frequency range. The musical
energy emitted from the external driver is thus as distortion free
as possible. Accurate engineering, special double box configuration
and truly superior quality materials and damping procedures have made
this possible.

About
Totem Acoustics
Totem Acoustic was founded in 1987 by Vincent Bruzzese in Montreal,
Canada. The new company's original mission was to develop a totally
new transducer, a loudspeaker capable of reproducing a truly musical
and involving performance. The goal was to provide something not currently
available on the market--an affordable "soul mover" for the music
lover.
The "Totem Acoustic" name was chosen as an ongoing symbolic representation
of this mission and vision. The Totem represents, to the native North
American people, an entity which chooses an individual and then guides
that person during his or her life. Totem Acoustic is a bridge to
higher musical awareness. |
