The Borghese tone
arm is the maximum improvement of our acclaimed U3 tone arm. Its length
and shaft diameter are Rega standard.
It has got a manual arm lift, a large counterweight to fit in practice
any kind of cartridge. The Borghese sound is open, fast and uncolored
even if it has got a very good, deep and powerful bass response.
The Pivot tower of Borghese has got a polished brass cup around, that
not only increases its mass (providing better tracking of the record
grooves) but also can be fill with a special high dampening silicon
oil (included) to eliminate resonance on the arm tube.
The polished aluminum/brass counterweight is positioned out of axis
to stay under the arm tube line increasing stability and to adjust
the anti-skating force and azimuth simultaneously. The arm tube is
a polished and hard aluminum alloy to guarantee structural rigidity
at its best.
The totally made polished brass lift is manual two positions functioning
and even if it is specifically designed for our tone arms it can be
fit on many others.
The anti-skating system, as the azimuth, are adjustable through the
movement of the out of axis holed counterweight. |
